Guppy Selangor (Headquarters)
Our plant in Selangor was opened in 1988 and serves as Guppy Plastic headquarters. The site was expanded twice in 1991 and 1993 and now boasts a built-up area of over 370,000 sq ft with an annual production capacity of approximately 40 millions pieces. The plant is ISO9001:2000 certified.
The Selangor plants specialize in producing disposable household wares, office furniture, pet products, and semiconductor parts.
Our Selangor plant is fully equipped to handle the manufacturing process from conceptualization and design, through to mould fabrication, production, sales and marketing for the local and international markets.
Glades Guppy Packaging (GGPM)
Formerly known as Ekspedisi Emas, it was originally founded in 2002 as a subsidiary to support headquarter ventures.
Glades Guppy Packaging focuses in spearheading solutions for more environmentally sustaining packaging including moulding and supply of paper products.
Guppy Penang
Our Penang plant benefits greatly from the state’s reputation as the “Silicon Valley of the East” and specializes in automotive, electrical and electronic, semiconductor and industrial products.
This facility is fully equipped with a sophisticated R&D design centre, testing laboratory and advanced measuring equipment.
The Penang plant is also able to perform a wide range of secondary processes from thermo welding, ultrasonic, silk screening, tempo printing, pin insertion, hot stamping and spray painting. The plant is certified in ISO9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 13485: 2016, proof of our total commitment to product excellence and international requirements.
Guppy Melaka (SIC)
Expanded as a branch under Guppy Plastic Industries (Penang), our Malacca plant first started operation in 2018 as part of a partnership initiative with Konica Minolta to streamline supply chain, establishing what is known as Smart Industry Centre (SIC) today.
Consisting a buildup area of 215,795 sq. ft. Guppy Melaka (SIC) is well equipped with the state-of-the-art facilities for injection molding ranging from 280ton to 1300ton, module assembly and automation process, paving a way to allow us to strive and achieve for the goal of industry 4.0
Guppy China
Our China operations was established in 1996. A spacious 92,000 sq ft facility, the plant specializes in the manufacturing of disposable plastic products for fast food restaurant chains.
Guppy China is fully accredited with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adheres strictly to the Good Manufacturing Practices code. We also scored an ‘Excellent’ during the AIB Food Safety Audit.
The plant’s advanced capabilities include injection moulding machines ranging from 120 ~ 280 tonnage capacities and a Material Conveying System that is separated from the control environment to prevent dust contamination.
To further facilitate the prevention of contamination, all product packaging processes are complemented by cutting-edge automation and done in a controlled environment.
US Sales Office
In 2006, Guppy expanded halfway across the globe, setting up a sales office in Folsom, California in the US with a main objective to provide better customer support to our growing clientele base in that region, particularly in technical and service aspects.
Now known as Glades Guppy Packaging Malaysia (GGPM), to which was the results of a new joint venture that was established in 2018.
